Courses MAY be taken through Horry County Schools' Adult Education's Virtual Schools Coordinator (HCVS) and Site Location Teacher 's approval. Courses are taken by contract and a student must be technologically sound in uses of computers and have an acceptable level of reading and math to enroll for success.

Your site teacher will make arrangements for your enrollment before the cut offs and deadlines occur.
After enrollment, the student must:
  • Have access to a working e-mail in order to receive information on courses from the virtual teacher
  • Keep in touch with and adhere to the virtual teacher's plans and timelines
  • Keep pace with the virtual class assignments
  • Keep up with his/her passwords and access information when given to them by the virtual school administrator.

Students may use HCVS if needed to complete coursework in HS Diploma area.
